This is a good example of a B 6 flying helmet with an integrated headset. The helmet is a USAAF Type B 6 Flying helmet in size large with shearling leather and marked with the AAF logo. The leather is in very good overall condition though there is some tearing, namely in the front visor area and heavy crazing in the back. The helmet has leather ear cups sewn on with snaps, though the snaps are torn through the
